Weigh Station Day 3

WOO HOO, I'm in Ketosis. It's been rough only being able to eat 10 ounces of food a day. Dinner last night was a hot dog (no bun), 1 hard boiled egg and 1/2 an ounce of turkey pepperoni. Really, who does that???

Thank goodness I'm on to stage 2 where I can have veggies and fruits and salads along with the 10 ounces of protein!!! Whew!!! Grilled Chicken salad with cheese and raspberry vinaigrette dressing coming my way this afternoon!! YUMO! It's the little things in life.

Day 1 of the Weigh Station

So far so good :) I made it a point this last week to eat some of my favorite foods such as, Aunt Jennies fabulous baked goods, general tso's chicken, homemade chicken alfredo with sister schuberts rolls, subway ham sandwich, Prime rib, baked potato and bread all from the Outback and to top it off a waffle cone from Brusters filled with birthday cake ice cream! I'm stuffed and probably gained 5 pounds in the process.

Today is my first day following the weigh station. For breakfast I had 1oz of turkey bacon and two scrambled eggs. For lunch I had 2oz of cheese, 1oz of turkey pepperoni and 1oz of turkey meat. And for dinner I will be having grilled chicken. So far I've drank 64oz of water and have spent the majority of the day in the bathroom. It's ok though I'm so excited to start this and to see results!! A more smaller me here I come!!

4 Years!

On January 6th, Mr. S and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. I was surprised when I walked down stairs and saw a dozen beautiful pink roses, such a lucky girl I am! We went to work and then came home and I made our favorite chicken alfredo for dinner. We spent the evening sipping champagne and getting caught up on our favorite shows, thank you DVR :)

Tonight we plan to go to Outback, prime rib and wallaby darns are calling my name!!!

Hello Twenty-Eleven!

It's been a while and I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, I know I sure did. We are so blessed to have the family and friends that we do. :) Now that the holidays are over it's back to business. Jonathan is staying busy at station 2 and is now working full time his new position at Allstate. Things have slowed down at Hallmark (which is a nice break after being so busy). A calm before the Valentine's Day storm.

This year I've decided it's all about "us" and taking care of our marriage/family and our health. We are best friends first which is awesome and have a wonderful marriage. We are young and relatively healthy and I want to enjoy every minute of it. So far we are off to a good start. Our 4 year anniversary is coming up on the 6th, and what a blessing the last 4 years have been. I'm so proud to be the wife of a firefighter and such a great man.

I'm also starting the Weight Station on Jan 9th. I can't wait! I lost 38 pounds at the most however, with the holidays I've gained 4 pounds back. It's ok though, the Weight Station is going to help me, it's going to switch things up and re motivate me! I'm ready to get rid of the the last 25-30 pounds.

Our little Bailey will be 10 this year, I can't believe I've been blessed to have him with me for 10 years. He has the best personality and makes me laugh every day! What a wonderful little family I'm very blessed to have :)

weight and trash the dress ?

So I’m still hanging out at about 30lbs lost. When I went back to my OB for a checkup. I explained the wall I’ve hit and he gave me a prescription to help jump start my system so hopefully along with exercising and watching what I eat this will help get me past the 30lb wall.
On another note I was browsing around on facebook and saw pictures from my cousins trash the dress photo shoot and of course they were gorgeous and on the beach and I got to thinking. My dress has been hanging in a closet for 3 years and 8 months and is already filthy at the bottom what a good way to bring it out one last time. I searched some pictures and saw some beautiful ones of brides out in nature near creaks. I saw some fun ones with paint which would be awesome but can’t really think of a place I could go. Also thought about how it would have been cool to have some pictures of Jonathan and I and the fire truck and that would be a great way to get dirty. Then I thought about my favorite thing in the world, wine and maybe going to a winery and doing it along with some grape stomping of course to get dirty! so cute! So many possibilities. I think I’ll start with the photographer. The one we go to does location shoots and charges $50.00 not bad but I don’t think much editing is done. Hmm so I think I’ll continue to think about it, it sure would be fun to get in the dress one last time and be able to not worry about it getting dirty. Oh and did I mention I can now fit back in my dress with the weight I’ve lost. Yay me!

Half way!!!

Photobucket

Well I've done it I've reached half of my goal. I'm so inspired I want nothing more than to keep going! I got to throw away like 8 pairs of pants I can no longer wear, it's an amazing feeling!!!! I'm just so happy, I've got 30lbs more to get to a weight I'm happy with but who knows the sky is the limit I just might keep going if I can!!!!
