10 DPO and.....

I'm justa waiting. I'm suppose to wait until June 1st. I don't think I can do that. I'm still on progesterone and haven't felt a thing. Normally by now, if not since ovulation my boobs are sore this time they aren't. Not sure if that's b/c of the progesterone or what but considering this is the only time I've taken the progesterone and the only time they haven't hurt it could be. Of course I say that now, watch in 2 or 3 days they will be hurting.

On another note, Jonathan and I took our dog Bailey camping this past weekend that was fun. It was Jonathan's first time camping, yes he's 24 and has not been camping before.. ha ha The river and mountains were beautiful.

I read a great scripture tonight that made me think about things.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

IUI #2 Done :)

This morning was our second IUI, we had to be fit in because he was already booked for the morning. We got there and waited patiently. I was anticipating a lot of pain like last time so I took some tylenol before we left. The sample was taken around 8:15am-ish, we got to the dr office before 9. Sitting in the procedure room waiting I ask what time it is and it's already 9:20am. We were feeling rushed because I have always heard no more than an hour for the sample to still be good. He comes in and his nurse flips on the really bright light and the bulb blew, she had to get another bulb and this is when the dr looks at us and goes, "so how was your weekend?" Caught us both off guard but made us giggle, and he told us how he went to see Star Wars so him and my hubby chatted about that for a second. I was amazed this time at the fact that it did not hurt at all, nothing like last time. He explained the progesterone again and wants us to start that on Wednesday and then we wait 14 days and the 14th day happens to be my Mom's birthday. I holding out hope that will give us some luck! So in the meantime I will try to not dwell on the fact and eat some pineapple for implantation and just enjoy my life. :)

IUI attempt #2 is a go!

So this past cycle started April 30th, I took 200mg of Clomid May 2-6. I went for our mid cycle check up on May 13th we had one follie on my left side measuring 17x14mm. The Dr. said he would like to see that follie a little bigger and wants me to come back on Friday. He said we have a 10% chance of ovulating before then. I didn't have high hopes for the follie because last time he said that we had to cancel our IUI because it did not grow anymore. This morning Jonathan went with me and low and behold it had increased to 20x17mm. We were thrilled and will be doing the shot of Ovidrel on Saturday night and we are scheduled to come back Monday morning at 9am for the procedure.
He wants me to start the endometrin either tuesday or wednesday he wants to think about it and will let me know Monday. I'm excited this one is the biggest I have had and I pray that we will get lucky this time. I have my grapefruit juice ready to drink as I have heard that helps with implantation.
I have also taken the time to sit down and look at how much money we have spent. We truly are blessed with good insurance this year alone they have paid more than $1700.00 and we have paid out of pocket so far since January of 08 more than $1000.00. Last year our insurance paid $1000.00 for me to have the HSG that's almost $4000.00 together with our insurance that has been paid so far. That's crazy! I sure hope this works this time!! :)
