A lot has happened since my last post. First, I've been doing the weigh station for 10 weeks and I'm close to reaching my goal weight. Per my scale I'm only 7lbs away. I've lost a total of 24lbs in 10 weeks, for a total of 57lbs GONE!
Now that I feel I can do things physically I decided to get back into soccer. I played rec co-ed soccer from 91-96. I was 13 the last time I played. OMG that was 15 years ago! I found an all women's league forming in my county and decided I wanted to join. I told my Mom all about it and to my surprise she wanted to play too!! We went shopping last week for cleats, shin guards, cones and a soccer ball. We showed up this past saturday morning for our 2 hour practice. I got to go with the 30 and under experienced crowd and Mom went with the "spectator, never touched a soccer ball" crowd. At the end of practice the 30 and over and 30 and under experienced scrimmaged each other. I use to play fullback in the 90's so decided that's where I wanted to start. The first time the women came hauling tail down the field all the excitement came back and I actually got full body chills. It was awesome! I've missed this so much! I didn't really think I would be in pain after just 2 hours but oh my gosh, I started feeling it in my thighs that night and by the next morning was sore from my knees to my ribs.
Second day of practice sore or not here we go! We did some drills and then incorporated the no experience with the experienced and scrimmaged. This time I landed wrong on my ankle and pulled something. I continued to play and didn't want to stop. Had a blast playing once again!
Monday morning when I rolled over I was reminded of my activities this weekend. Oh WOW! This better get easier, now it's time to take it easy and get this ankle better before my next two days of practice this weekend!
I'm so glad my Mom is doing this with me, it will be good for us to do together to keep in shape. Lovin me some soccer!

4 weeks in!
As of February 6th I've been doing the weigh station for 4 full weeks. I've lost 14.5lbs and 12.25 inches during this time! This brings my total weigh loss to 47.5 lbs and I feel GREAT!!
It seems my PCOS symptoms are getting better as well! I've been reading that the best diet to be on is a low carb diet and thats just what I'm doing and low and behold my body actually did what it's naturally suppose to do being a woman! This is the first time it has without being medicated on fertility drugs! I'm ecstatic and throwing a party! This is also great news and very encouraging! I'm so happy for all the positives coming out of getting all this weight off!
16.5 lbs more to go till I hit my goal weight!

Weigh Station Day 3
WOO HOO, I'm in Ketosis. It's been rough only being able to eat 10 ounces of food a day. Dinner last night was a hot dog (no bun), 1 hard boiled egg and 1/2 an ounce of turkey pepperoni. Really, who does that???
Thank goodness I'm on to stage 2 where I can have veggies and fruits and salads along with the 10 ounces of protein!!! Whew!!! Grilled Chicken salad with cheese and raspberry vinaigrette dressing coming my way this afternoon!! YUMO! It's the little things in life.

Day 1 of the Weigh Station
So far so good :) I made it a point this last week to eat some of my favorite foods such as, Aunt Jennies fabulous baked goods, general tso's chicken, homemade chicken alfredo with sister schuberts rolls, subway ham sandwich, Prime rib, baked potato and bread all from the Outback and to top it off a waffle cone from Brusters filled with birthday cake ice cream! I'm stuffed and probably gained 5 pounds in the process.
Today is my first day following the weigh station. For breakfast I had 1oz of turkey bacon and two scrambled eggs. For lunch I had 2oz of cheese, 1oz of turkey pepperoni and 1oz of turkey meat. And for dinner I will be having grilled chicken. So far I've drank 64oz of water and have spent the majority of the day in the bathroom. It's ok though I'm so excited to start this and to see results!! A more smaller me here I come!!

4 Years!
On January 6th, Mr. S and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. I was surprised when I walked down stairs and saw a dozen beautiful pink roses, such a lucky girl I am! We went to work and then came home and I made our favorite chicken alfredo for dinner. We spent the evening sipping champagne and getting caught up on our favorite shows, thank you DVR :)
Tonight we plan to go to Outback, prime rib and wallaby darns are calling my name!!!

Hello Twenty-Eleven!
It's been a while and I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays, I know I sure did. We are so blessed to have the family and friends that we do. :) Now that the holidays are over it's back to business. Jonathan is staying busy at station 2 and is now working full time his new position at Allstate. Things have slowed down at Hallmark (which is a nice break after being so busy). A calm before the Valentine's Day storm.
This year I've decided it's all about "us" and taking care of our marriage/family and our health. We are best friends first which is awesome and have a wonderful marriage. We are young and relatively healthy and I want to enjoy every minute of it. So far we are off to a good start. Our 4 year anniversary is coming up on the 6th, and what a blessing the last 4 years have been. I'm so proud to be the wife of a firefighter and such a great man.
I'm also starting the Weight Station on Jan 9th. I can't wait! I lost 38 pounds at the most however, with the holidays I've gained 4 pounds back. It's ok though, the Weight Station is going to help me, it's going to switch things up and re motivate me! I'm ready to get rid of the the last 25-30 pounds.
Our little Bailey will be 10 this year, I can't believe I've been blessed to have him with me for 10 years. He has the best personality and makes me laugh every day! What a wonderful little family I'm very blessed to have :)
